What we collect

• Account details you provide: name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash).
• Records you enter: vehicles, trips, maintenance, expenses, plus any receipt files you upload.
• Preferences: distance unit, appearance, year selections, and whether you finished or skipped the optional first-run setup.
• Technical data needed to keep the service working and secure: session identifiers, request timestamps and error logs. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics.

How we use it

To provide the record book you asked for, to keep your account secure, to export your data on request, and to answer support requests. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Your records are stored in our own database on a hosted server, and receipt files are stored in private storage that is not reachable by URL. Receipts are served only to the signed-in owner through the application.

Payments

Subscriptions are purchased through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we receive confirmation that a subscription is active for your account and never receive your card details.

Sharing

We do not share your records with third parties. Our hosting provider processes the data on our behalf to run the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

Your controls

• Export your data at any time from the app (CSV exports and a full account archive).
• Close your account in the app. Closure starts a 30-day recovery window during which you can restore it with your password.
• Permanent erasure can be requested by email; records are not deleted automatically when access expires.

Retention

Records remain available while your account exists. After account closure they are kept for the recovery window and handled under our retention policy; expired subscriptions keep read and export access and are never deleted automatically.

Cookies and local storage

We use one session cookie to keep you signed in, and browser storage for your appearance choice and the local onboarding marker. No advertising or tracking cookies are set.
